Another Message in Song

We face trials and temptations daily. Sometimes things come all at one time or maybe an affliction on our body and we seek Gods face for healing and trust Him to work things out.
God is faithful to His children and works in His time. We tend to forget shortly after He has worked and moved for us. How many times........

So You Would Know Just How Much I Love You

VERSE)
How many times must I prove how much I love you
How many ways must my love for you I show
How many times must I rescue you from trouble
For you to know just how much I love you

CHORUS)
Didn't I wake you up this morning
Were you clothed in your right mind
When you walked upon a problem
Didn't I step right in on time
When you were weak along life's journey
My angels carried you
So you would know just how much I love you

VERSE 2)
How many days must I be fence around you
How many nights must I wipe your tears away
How many storms must I bring you safely through
For you to know just how much I love you

REPEAT CHORUS

CHORUS 2)
Didn't I put food on your table
Show UP! when your bills were due
When the pains were racking your body
Didn't I send healing down to you
When you were lost in sin and sorrow
I died to set you free
So you would know just how much I love you
REPEAT CHORUS 2

So you would know,
(so you would know how much)
So you would know,
(so you would know how much)
So you would know just how much I love you

I want to remember what God has done for me and try to do a better job thanking Him for what He has done and not just focus on what still needs taking care of.
In His time, In His time
He will work all things beautifully ...... In HIS time :-)

Have a good day!!!

  1. Yes, we do need to remember all His benefits. Had it not been for God's mercy, where would any of us be? I know that he has been faithful to me and my family. Sometimes we get together as a family, and we begin to recall all the times God came to our rescue down through our lives. Many times it results in bringing tears of joy and a praises to God. It knits our hearts closer together as a family and we also draw closer to God. "When we come to the place that He's all we have, we will find He's all we need." Thanks for sharing the song. We are still lifting you up in prayer.

  3. I remember that song and really like it. Didn't the Comptons' used to have that song on Gospel Radio? I never hear it anymore and it was one of my favorites. I never did know all the verses to it, so thanks for posting it for me! :o)

I know the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir sings it. I'm not familiar with the Comptons. It is a great song though, I really like it.

Thanks for your continued prayers during my affliction. I am feeling so much better, thank the Lord. God has been so faithful to me through this and I owe Him my life... and ya know, that is just what He asks of us... our life... lived for Him :-)
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
